Tremendously long, but very interesting talks with Gunter Grass and Norman Mailer. I like especially that the interviewer is so direct and confrontation — “why did you act as the moral authority of germany and not tell people you were part of Hilter’s youth?” You don’t often see that level intellectual honesty in public discourse. Normally we’re too “polite” to confront people like that.
